How the NöSPOP™ System Works

NöSPOP™ is designed as a system, not a single product.

This page explains how the system works, how it connects with different noses, and how to choose the setup that makes the most sense for you.

There’s no right or wrong starting point just different ways of interfacing with the same core idea.

THE CORE IDEA

The Core Idea

Traditional clown noses rely on fixed clips, adhesives, or workarounds that don’t work for everyone.

NöSPOP™ approaches the problem differently.

Instead of forcing every performer to adapt to the same attachment method, the system separates the nose from the interface.

That separation is what makes the system flexible, inclusive, and repeatable.

The goal is simple:
A removable, professional nose that works across different faces, styles, and situations — without changing how you perform.

WHAT THE SYSTEM ACTUALLY IS

What Makes It a System

At the center of NöSPOP™ is a consistent attachment interface.

That interface stays the same.

What changes is what you attach to it.

This allows performers to:

  • Choose a nose that fits their face and character
  • Remove and reattach the nose without reapplying adhesives
  • Transition between looks without starting over

Once the interface is set, the system works the same way every time.

TWO WAYS TO USE THE SYSTEM

Two Ways to Use NöSPOP™

There are two ways to use the NöSPOP™ system, depending on whether you want a ready-made option or want to adapt something you already use.

Both paths lead to the same result.

OPTION 1 — NöSPOP™ PILOT NOSES

Using NöSPOP™ Pilot Noses

We offer four pilot noses designed specifically to interface directly with the NöSPOP™ system.

These noses use a magnetic fastening method that allows them to be:

  • Secure during performance
  • Intentionally removable when needed
  • Swapped quickly without adhesives

With a small, controlled pull, the nose can be removed and changed even while performing.

There is no need for glue, tape, or repeated application.

This option works well if you want a ready-to-use solution that integrates seamlessly with the system.

OPTION 2 — ADAPTING A NOSE YOU ALREADY USE

Adapting an Existing Nose

If you already have a silicone coated foam nose that feels like you, there’s no need to replace it.

That nose can be permanently or temporarily attached to the NöSPOP™ interface using adhesive.

Once attached, the nose becomes part of the system.

From that point forward:

  • The nose can be removed and reattached repeatedly
  • Adhesives do not need to be reapplied
  • The look and feel you’re used to stays the same

This option allows performers to transition into the system without giving up what already works for them.

WHAT THE SYSTEM SOLVES

What This Solves

Many performers experience challenges with traditional attachment methods.

Clips may not fit smaller facial structures.
Adhesives can irritate sensitive skin.
Tape can fail during movement or longer performances.

These challenges aren’t about skill or commitment they’re about tools.

NöSPOP™ was designed to remove those barriers so performers can focus on timing, connection, and presence and inclusion not equipment.

CHOOSING YOUR STARTING POINT

Choosing Your Starting Point

Most performers begin with the core NöSPOP™ system and choose how they want to interface with it.

  • If you want simplicity and immediacy, the pilot noses offer a straightforward starting point.
  • If you already have a nose you love, adapting it allows you to move forward without changing your look.

Both options are fully compatible with the system.

You’re not locking yourself into a single choice you’re choosing where to begin.

USE & EXPECTATIONS

Use and Care

NöSPOP™ is built for repeated performance use.

Like all performance equipment, it works best when treated with care and intention.

It is not designed to be indestructible.
It is designed to be dependable.

If the system disappears and the show starts, it’s doing its job.
